UPC accepts registered physical therapists and physicians in our courses. 

BC registrants may apply with the CPTBC to use dry needling within their physical therapy practice if they:

  • are a full registrant in BC, and;
  • have at least two years of recent physical therapy practice experience (1 year is the equivalent of 1950 hours), and;
  • have succesfully finished the Uplands Physio Clinic's level 1 and level 2 dry needling courses including its exams.

Details about payment will be mailed and, after registration, you will receive precourse materials.

 

Level 1 dry needling course 'Extremities' (3 days) dates:

Dates to be decided in Kelowna.

Cost is $ 1,500.00 plus GST.

 

You must complete level 1 'Extremities' before you can register for level 2 'Spine' 

Level 2 'Spine' (3 days) dates:

Dates to decided in Kelowna.

Cost for $ 1,500.00 plus GST.

 

You must be registered on the CPTBC's dry needling roster before you can follow Level 3 'TMD and Headaches' (2 days):

Dates in 2025 to be announced in Kelowna - please stay tuned.

Cost is $ 800.00 plus GST.
